This week we feature two of the promising Tigers who recently got the call up to make their debut. Kevin Stoerr and Mark Wilson will look to become full-time players in the future. Stoerr projects to be a power hitter and Wilson showed flashes of defensive brilliance at short. Neither had played hardball since their highschool days, Stoerr at Lancaster and Wilson at Cheektowaga Central.

Interestingly, Stoerr once thought as a kid that Guns 'n Roses made him the subject of one of their songs. The song in question...Knockin' on Kevin's Door. Wilson on the other hand, seems to be very creative at problem solving, especially when slightly inebriated. Just ask his buddy whom he tried to tow out of a snowbank by showing up with an extension chord.
