Week 10 Profile: Jay Bulera
This week's profiled player is Jay Bulera. Jay is yet another Tiger that is new to the team this year. He came to the team to fill the need as another dominant pitcher and has been just that when healthy. Unfortunately, shoulder problems have limited Bulera's ability to throw many innings, but the Tigers are hoping he'll be back strong for the stretch run and the playoffs. In the meantime, Bulera has been filling in in the outfield and has done a fine job. He is also Papa P's right hand man on the bench. He does a nice job keeping score as well as keeping the pitch count. Outside of baseball, Bulera is one of the more enigmatic players on the team. I don't really know too much about him. I know he is a damn good ball hockey player. He plays for the Living Legend himself, former Tiger, Larry Bartoszek. He also plays softball during the week. Guess I'll have to make it a point to find out a good story about him and add to this later.
